Hello!
It all started with a teenage obsession for the Food Network. If I weren't captivated by the comforting presence of culinary powerhouses such as Ina Garten, Anna Olsen and Michael Smith, I may have ended up behind a desk instead of behind the bread rack. All I can say is, thank goodness Ace of Cakes showed me what's possible, because baking is truly my biggest joy and passion.

That same teenager who spent her evenings watching Countdown to Dinner also knew she would (some way, somehow) own her own bakery. The proof is in the pudding or, in this case, my high school memory book, where I boldly scribed "own my own bakery" as my 10-year goal.

2020 marks exactly 10 years since I wrote that down. 10 years of training (culinary arts at TRU and later pastry school at VCC), of unforgettable jobs at restaurants and bakeries in Kamloops, Merritt, Kelowna, Victoria and Vancouver, of all-night bake-a-thons and, most recently, vending at the Kamloops Farmers' Market. I almost can't believe we made it.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has supported me along the way. Each loaf of bread or "like" on social media means the world to me. I can't wait to welcome you to Brynn's Bakery — it's been a long time coming, friends.

Lots of love,
Brynn
